WORCESTER, Mass. - The city of Worcester unveiled a new Health and Human Services mobile vaccine clinic during Friday's COVID-19 media briefing.
The van was refurbished and customized by Vinh Ly, owner of 3B Automotive on Canterbury Street and was paid for by the United Way of Central Massachusetts and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
Ly volunteered his time and donated the labor to make the van possible.
"I just thought it would be a great cause,” Ly said. “I mean Worcester has given a lot to me and I thought if I could give back especially during this time and the whole COVID situation.”
The van has seating, a table, a sink and bathroom. It will be hitting Worcester's streets within the next few weeks.
